In all my caregiving, who is caring for me?

That’s the question this Bible study invites us to ponder. Most caregivers experience anxiety, fear, frustration, loneliness, and exhaustion. In their caregiving, they wonder who will refresh their souls.

In this four-weekBible study designed for all types of caregivers, including those who have a special needs child, an aging parent, or a chronically ill spouse, you’ll take comfort in Jesus’ personal encounters with caregivers and discover how God is empowering you to care for your loved one.

In Who Cares for You? you’ll:

  • Discover how Jesus meets your needs in seasons of caregiving
  • Deepen your relationship with Christ through the Bible
  • Understand how Jesus equips you to joyfully persevere in caregiving
  • Grow in your understanding of God’s deep love for you

Each study covers one Bible passage over five days, offering daily questions and a devotional teaching to help you reflect on God’s Word.

Who Cares for You? will remind you that Jesus is still meeting you where you are and equipping you to walk this caregiving journey with him. You’ll discover new depths of God’s tenderness and compassion. You’ll be reminded to turn to Jesus, our perfect caregiver, as we pick up the holy calling of meeting the needs of another.

Marissa, in her Caregiver Bible study, reaches out to those who are overwhelmed with emotions of inadequacy, anxiety, fear, frustration, loneliness, exhaustion and not knowing what to do. We are reminded in this study we can run to Jesus and He is caring for us. As I continue to help my husband with dialysis, I am encouraged by what I have learned.

Wanda

As a special needs mother, this study not only deepened my relationship with Christ and knowledge of the Bible, but also encouraged and propelled me to care for my (fearfully and wonderfully made) two year old son.

This study is a respite for your heart. While caregiving looks so different for each of us, there is sweet fellowship in coming together and being able to share our hard places and do it in the context of seeking after the One who loves us deeply and truly does meet us personally in grace, love and hope. Seeing Jesus’ compassion in each of our lessons was such an encouragement to my heart – He truly sees and meets each of us where we are and with what we need.

Amy

I am the mother of three kids adopted from foster care.  This study has deeply encouraged me on my caregiving journey. Through this study, I was able to rest in the truth that Jesus deeply mourns the hard and painful things that we, and are loved ones, experience here on Earth. He is not a distant God, but a close friend and Savior who walks beside us, caring for us the whole way.

Nellie

The study can be used by individuals, but my heart is for it to be done within a loving caregiving community that can provide rich discussion, encouragement, and prayer.
