Week 7

Week 7/28 is done! Woohoo!!

This week had some highs and lows…

Lows: Alice was quarantined this past week because of low counts. And her hair fell out. 

Highs: We made the most of it all! She was quarantined the week of freakishly cold weather so we cuddled by the fire, painted and carved pumpkins, finished puzzles, played games etc. And after we all worked through our various emotions to the hair loss, Alice asked me to cut the remaining hair short and then she got a turn hacking away at a Barbie’s hair. 😉This girl is rocking the short/no hair look. And the hand made hats and fun headbands friends have delivered have made her feel so special. 💜

Her treatment today went so well! She was very brave. Not every week will go smoothly like this one – so I am thankful.

Her counts went up from last week but are still low so we will continue hiding out this week in hopes of keeping everyone well for the wedding next weekend! 

Thank you all – keep praying… she will feel sick this weekend and is still adjusting to her lack of hair.
