Resource for Loving Your Friends, or Helping Your Friends Love You

I’m excited to share with you an article that I wrote for Living by Design Ministries – talking about how Job’s three friends can be a helpful model for us as we seek to love others well.

As long as we focus on just a few verses that is! 😉

If you’ve read Job before, you know that his friends start off doing everything correctly… and then a few verses later they begin to make Job’s suffering worse. But there is a simple “formula” of sorts that we can learn from their initial reaction to him. So I hope you’ll head over to that website and read the piece!

This article will encourage you if:

  1. You have a friend who is suffering and you aren’t sure how to serve her.
  2. You are suffering and struggling to explain to your friends what you need from them.

My hope is that the article will encourage you, give you some things to think about, and equip you with some language and ideas so that you can love your suffering friends well in the years to come.

Grace and peace to you friends,

-Marissa

I love hearing from you!
